The second is the establishment of a “backbone” organization to provide leadership and focus for the efforts. Finally, the third is the establishment of the Ozarks Philanthropy Partnership

Over the past two years, more than 20 leaders of businesses, government, schools, service agencies, and ministries met to address the systemic issues associated with poverty. They decided a comprehensive assessment with a Christ-centered focus would be beneficial as a starting point.
